Painted Plaster from a Tomb Chapel

When early travellers found tomb chapels glowing with banquet scenes, they hired artists to copy the walls before the colours faded. This early facsimile preserves offering bearers, dancers and hieroglyph columns exactly as they appeared two centuries ago.

Children love this wall: count the geese, find the harpist, and spot the scribe recording every loaf. Free family trails start at the desk beside it.
